Thorn allows you to create cutting edge sounds. DS Audio developed Thorn with electronic music producers in mind. The goal was to create a software synthesizer that would produce punchy sounds, which are aggressive and snappy.

New synthesises for new electronic musicians
Thorn's sound engine is based on a novel Spectral Synthesis technique, giving you full control of the harmonics used to create a final timbre. You can create an array of futuristic sounds with three Harmonic Oscillators and a Harmonic filter.

Enjoy the future with flexible filters
You can use two analog-modeled, multi-mode filter with zero-delay feedback to customize your sounds and bring them to life in the mix. Modulate any parameter with them. Set of nine high-quality sounds and effects will help to polish your music. Check out our pattern-based Glitch Sequencer for even more fun. It allows you to produce the glitch effects that are now an integral part of electronic music.
