Use FBReader to search for words and phrases in a dictionary. Choose from a variety of external dictionaries.

You can use the Google or Yandex integrated translator to translate sentences in FBReader Premium without ever leaving the app. Warning: Daily usage may be limited.

FBReader supports synchronization of your library and/or reading positions with the FBReader book network (https://books.fbreader.org/), a Google Drive(tm) based cloud service. The synchronization feature is disabled by default. To enable it and configure its settings, you can use the preferences dialog.

The FBReader app is highly customizable and fast. It can use TrueType/OpenType fonts, and it has a custom background. You can adjust the brightness of the screen while you read (sliding your finger up/down the left edge) and choose different color schemes for day/night.

This reader includes a browser/downloader that allows you to access various network ebook stores and catalogs. Included are popular English, French and Russian libraries, as well as Chinese, Polish, and Chinese-language libraries. Custom OPDS catalogues can also be supported.

You can also download the books and save them manually in /sdcard/Books.

This reader also includes hyphenation patterns in 24 languages. This app is free (GPL).
