File size: 41.82 MB

Photomatix Pro merges photos taken at different exposure levels to create a single HDR photo that shows both highlights and shadows. It also offers options for aligning photographs automatically, removing ghosts and reducing noise, as well as chromatic and chroma aberrations. The merged images can be further adjusted with a variety of options to achieve the desired look. This includes achieving natural results by using exposure fusion, or achieving painterly images that are surreal and ultra-realistic using tone mapping.

Automate batch processing

Benefits to professional photographers
Lighting equipment can be purchased at a lower cost. When you are shooting high contrast scenes, there is no need to carry expensive lighting equipment. Photomatix will merge your photos with a dynamic range that is extended by using the Auto Exposure bracketing feature on your camera.
- Take great pictures when it's cloudy. A dull photograph is usually the result of a dull sky or hazy light. Photomatix's tone mapping tool can transform them into stunning images. Take a look at this example.
Save time during post-processing. Photomatix is designed to be productive -- automatic blending and stacking, comparison of results, and batch processing can save you hours of masking in image editing software.
- Well exposed panoramics. When shooting a 360deg panoramic, you cannot limit your view to the same brightness. Photomatix Pro allows you to create panoramas that show detail in both dark and light areas. Photomatix Pro supports HDR tone mapping and exposure fusion, also known as exposure blend.

New Version 7
Batch with Preview
You can now preview each HDR photo before you batch bracketed images. Each image can be adjusted by using a different HDR preset. This is especially useful when you are processing photos with scenes that have varying lighting conditions.

Save Ghost Removal Selection
This feature allows you to mark specific areas for ghost removal and save them. It saves you from having to start all over again each time you want to combine the bracketed images. You can also use the ghost-removal selection when batching.

Watermark customization tool
With the new Watermark Tool, you can add your text watermarks to images. You have the option to choose the font, size and layout of the watermark.

Save HDR images in 32-bit DNG
Version 7 now includes the option to save images as DNG, including 32-bit DNGs for merged HDR images.

Start batching via drag & drop
Now you can initiate batch processing via drag-and drop or by browsing bracketed photos sets.
