MacroDroid's automation capabilities
When you get into your car, turn on Bluetooth and play music. Switch on WiFi once you're near your home.
You can reduce battery consumption by dimming the screen or turning off WiFi.
Save on roaming charges (automatically turn off data)
Increase your safety while commuting with automated replies via SMS or email.
Create your own sound profiles and notifications.
Use stopwatches and timers to remind you of certain tasks.

In just 3 easy steps, this is what it looks like

1. Choose a trigger.

A trigger starts the macro. MacroDroid provides over 70 triggers for your macro. Location-based triggers like GPS, cell phones, and more. Device status triggers such as battery levels and app opening/closing. Sensor triggers including light, shaking and other sensor values.
Macros are triggered automatically. However, you can also create shortcuts on your homescreen or use the Macrodroid Sidebar.

2. Choose the actions that you would like to automate.

MacroDroid is capable of performing over 100 actions that would normally be done by hand. Connect your Bluetooth device or Wifi, choose volume, read text (like incoming notifications, current time, etc. ), dim the screen, start a clock, and more.

3. Configure constraints if you wish.

You can use constraints to make sure that the macro only fires when you need it.
Want to stay connected to the company WiFi only during working hours? You can choose specific days or times to invoke the macro. MacroDroid has 50 different constraint types, including: connected devices, battery levels, day and time constraints, headphones installed, and more.
