MedCalc 22.016 Multilingual

File size: 52.3 MB

Statistical software designed for biomedical researchers. It includes a wide range of graph types, functions and an advanced module to perform ROC graph analyses. MedCalc was designed for biomedical researches to handle large datasets. The software provides all the tools necessary to perform Receiver Operating Characteristics curve analysis, dataplotting, Bablok-Deming regression, and much more.

MedCalc's integrated spreadsheet has over 100,000 rows and can read detailed data from Excel, SPSS Dbase Lotus, SYLK DIF, or other text or DIF files. Information can easily be sorted, edited or filtered.

Its built-in browser allows you to manage data, variables and notes. You can also create graphs that are suitable for subgroups of variables or up to 24 variables.

MedCalc's ROC analysis is one of its most useful features. The software can calculate the ROC plot with confidence limits of 95%, the specificity and sensitivity for each threshold, the likelihood ratios as well as the predictive value. It also generates conclusive plots to determine the area beneath the ROC chart. It can compare up to six ROC curves, calculating differences in the area, standard errors, P values and more.

MedCalc can handle missing data and create subgroups. It also calculates percentile rankings, power transformation, and computes the ranks of each group. The program includes outlier detection tools, regression and correlation, Bland & Altman Plotting and Chi-Square tests.

The multiple comparison graphs feature allows you to easily generate a summary for the statistical report. You can also place and view data side by side.
To get the best out of MedCalc, you need to have at least a basic understanding of statistics. The extensive features of MedCalc make it an essential tool to run method comparison studies or analyze biomedical information.
