Use your computer or controller to trigger loops and phrases
Digital Performer now has loop triggering in the new Clips window. Drag and drop audio or MIDI clips into the Clips Window from DP’s new Content Browser and interactively trigger them for live performances, on-the-fly inspiration, and more. You can trigger individual clips, clip groups with multiple tracks (a partial row), or the entire row of clips (clips from all tracks). DP's clip queue allows you to stack clips ahead of time so that you don't need to trigger them manually. You can dynamically add or remove clips as you feel inspired, using your laptop, or any MIDI-controlled device. Clips is a powerful tool for live performances, combining linear track playback, clip triggering, and live mixing. DP has become your one-stop shop for studio productions and live performances.

Manipulate audio like never before
Stretch Audio allows you to manipulate audio with greater control and precision. Grab a single audio beat and adjust its timing. Stretch Edit allows you to precisely control anchor points and achieve the exact feel you desire. To control the global tempo, enable Stretch mode. The entire audio track will instantly adjust to the project's tempo, and even smooth changes in tempo over time. Zynaptiq's ZTX PRO (tm), technology ensures that the audio is of the highest quality.

Ultimate tempo control and beat control
Beat Detection in DP10 works like magic to find the beats within your audio. This includes individual loops, multi-channel stems, and full mixes. After the beats have been detected, you are able to manipulate them using DP's Stretch Audio feature as well as industry-leading tempo adjustments. Instantly adjust your audio to match the project's timeline and tempo. You can even apply gradual tempo changes. Drop loops in the Clips Window, and they will be perfectly timed with your music.

You can now access all the tools you need to unleash your creativity, including virtual instruments, loops and clips, plug ins and more. Just drag-and-drop to get them. Search quickly finds material by text or name. The Content Browser can speed up your workflow tenfold.

Control your mix with enhanced control
VCA faders, like the analog consoles from years ago, will revolutionize your mixing in DP. One VCA fader controls any number of tracks while maintaining their relative volumes. You can create as many VCA Groups as you like. VCAs can be controlled by other VCAs to create nested subgroups. Mix automation can be applied to VCAs, and the sub-fader is scaled and maintained throughout. The perfect mix is now faster and easier to achieve.

Audio waveforms can be edited with clarity.
Digital Performer Waveform Editor provides a single environment to perform waveform editing down to the sample level, beat editing with precision, elastic audio stretching and pitch correction. Select an Edit Layer, and you'll be able to move around the interface. Zooming shortcuts are plentiful. Waveform Editor provides you with clarity and precision.
