Rhino 7 represents the biggest upgrade we've ever made. With our SubD tools, you can now create organic forms. Rhino.Inside.Revit allows you to run Rhino(r) and Grasshopper together as a Revit Add-On. QuadRemesh is a powerful algorithm that creates a quad mesh using NURBS geometry and meshes. This release unlocks completely new modeling workflows, and refines many of our steadfast features.

Rhino7 New Features

Subd
SubD, a new type of geometry, allows designers to quickly explore organic shapes. It can also create highly accurate editable shapes. SubD is a new geometry type that combines accuracy with free-form shapes while still being able to edit quickly.

Rhino.Inside.Revit
Rhino.Inside.Revit combines the Rhino(r) and Grasshopper(r), the powerful software, with the Autodesk Revit environment.

QuadRemesh
Create quad meshes quickly from surfaces, meshes or SubDs. Ideal for reverse engineering, rendering, animations, CFD and FEA.

Presenting
We've made a number of improvements to Rhino 7 including a new rendering engine that allows you to render the same image as your Raytraced Viewport without making any modifications. Support for PBR material, LayerBook, and many other features have been added.

Rhino Refined
Rhino 7 has hundreds of bug fixes, as well as workflow improvements such as Mold Making Tools, Single-Line Font for Engraving, and better interoperability with third-party formats.

You can also display this on your screen
Rhino 7's display pipeline is constantly being improved to meet the needs of modern graphics hardware. Rhino 7 will allow some models to display faster, both on Windows and Mac. Display modes have been improved to be even more impressive while working.

Documentation
The design process is not just about modeling; it's also important to demonstrate how you built the image on screen. While improving the workflow, we've also focused on more graphically rich illustration tools such as transparency and gradients hatches...

Grasshopper
Recently, Grasshopper has been everywhere. We're struggling to keep up with the latest trends (you may even notice that canvas from other apps). We've made it much easier for you to convert your Rhino 7 programs into plug-ins.

Development Platform
Rhino 7 is a major upgrade to the free SDK, with improved documentation and API improvements, as well as some new and exciting features.
