Auto-Align(r) Post support
Actors often move around during performances, changing their positioning between lavalier mics and booms and shifting phase in different ways. Nuendo 12 seamlessly integrates Auto-Align Post 2, making time and phase alignment of constantly roving microphones much simpler. As an ARA 2 plug-in extension, simply activating Auto-Align Post then selecting your reference audio track will get it going; all without damaging or altering its original audio! Furthermore, its nondestructive nature means original tracks remain fully preserved ready for instant recall/reprocessing as soon as processing has finished its work!

Nuendo 12 offers many new enhancements and tools to streamline audio event fade editing, such as its size with fade modifier key and several new editing improvements for fades in audio events.
Now you can also use key commands to adjust a range selection in all four directions, as well as move its position itself. Furthermore, there's now also the capability of creating or altering fade in/out length while resizing events by holding down modifier keys while using the Select tool.
Now you can assign key commands for slip editing instead of only using mouse-driven edits and tool modifiers.

Nuendo 12 stands as the Home of Dialogue and in this release has taken special note to address its unique recording requirements. Not only have we revamped ADR Taker user interface; new features have also been introduced that make dialogue recording simpler - whether preparing for ADR sessions, language dubbing projects for Netflix, or third-party apps with scripts you need imported quickly into Nuendo quickly and effortlessly. These timesaving tools will save hours while lessen repetitive tasks radically improving workflow and saving hours in total!

Nuendo 12 supports Netflix's proprietary TTAL dialogue script format for language dubbing projects. TTAL files can be imported or exported with Nuendo 12, then converted to record-ready ADR markers with dialogue text, characters, on/off screen notices etc. Any script changes made during production can be documented via marker editor before being transferred back into workflow via TTAL export feature.

Nuendo 12 now fully integrates EdiCue v4, an award-winning ADR cueing application. Dialogue supervisors can easily create cues in Nuendo with the EdiCue Project Interface window using character text from PDF shooting scripts to the required properties for smooth recording sessions and store cue data instantly into Nuendo's cycle markers for instantaneous record. Or EdiCue can import cue data directly from its PDF cue sheets into Nuendo for recording purposes directly, with immediate instant record, while directly import data directly from cycle markers into EdiCue for instant record - plus you can import data directly into EdiCue as well importing cycles directly into Nuendo's cycle markers straight into EdiCue for recording sessions! Finally you can export customized cue sheets as PDFs!
