Now available is the LM6-5.1 Loudness Meter plug-in to measure Loudness and True Peak on any mono, stereo, or surround tracks within new versions of Pro Tools or any major DAW.

We have enhanced the native LM2n & LM6n plug-ins with dedicated settings, viewing options and improved off-line measuring within Pro Tools as well as several new features - all accessible through their Radar Display feature for quick measurement of loudness landscape.

Loudness measuring is subjective in nature and your material could exceed normalized (quasi-peak or sample peak) normalization methods if normalized the traditional way (quasi-peak or sample-peak). Therefore, for broadcast standard compliance you need a true peak meter.

True peak meters measure both actual samples as well as inter sample peaks, providing insight into any distortion-causing peaks that would otherwise go undetected.

LM2n and LM6n can assist in getting an accurate reading to enable normalization without degrading audio quality.

Pro Tools users will appreciate the power of off-line loudness measuring with LM2n or LM6n as an Audio Suite plug-in, offering faster measurements than real-time.

Simply choose a preset, select an audio clip you wish to measure, and hit "Analyze". That's it!
