Regular expressions (also known as regexp or regex) are a series of characters which specify a pattern for searching. RegEx patterns can be used to create string search algorithms. A regular expression is a flexible and concise way to "match" text strings, like words or characters.

Vovsoft RegEx Extractor, a data mining tool, is designed to help you extract data using rules and regular expressions (starts with, ends without, contains). Its batch processing feature allows you to search multiple files simultaneously.

Drag and drop files into the scan folder or choose the folder before clicking "Start". Also, file masks can be used. Regular expressions (URLs and postal codes are supported, as well as phone numbers, dates and other data). You can easily export the results to a text file for later use.
