WinNc, a tabbed files manager developed specifically for Windows 10, is an application that allows you to manage your files in tabs. WinNc uses a modern flat interface and is compatible with Windows 8 or 7. This NC-clone is based on the dual-panel idea of Norton Commander, the old file manager. The tabbed interface lets you organize your data according to project. It also has shortcuts for all Windows 10 special folders.

Projects may include virtual links that point to folders and files on the entire disk that relate to that tab. WinNc's new Windows 10 flat-panel interface allows it to perform all the standard file manager functions, such as copying, moving, deleting, compressing, uncompressing, and creating links. WinNc can also burn files to dvd or cd. It creates ISO files, and syncs your files. It allows you to create self-extracting.exe files from zip files.

File Actions in WinNc
WinNc makes use of logical colors to indicate the actions that are being performed on a file. You can tell if it is being copied (Green), moved (Orange), or packed (Yellow). WinNc lets you perform multiple tasks if the maximum parallel task is set to more than one. WinNc waits until the last action is complete before starting the next action. The built-in file viewer supports all popular formats. The built-in slideshow viewer is accompanied by an audio player, a video player and a video for browsing your media.
